The most common scales for model cars are 1:18, 1:43, and 1:50. Further you also have cars in model railway scale 1:87, 1:76, and 1:160. N-scale have increasing number of models. Due to the greater possibility of detailing the models, and that N-scale is becoming more popular, so there are more and more model car manufacturers who want to produce in 1:160. It is good for us which builds model landscape in this scale. Have taken some pictures to show the proportions and detailing that are in this range.
Here are model buses, a city car, a bus, and a truck, compared with a pistachio nut, matchbox, a battery, an adhesive tape roll, a 20-kroner coin, a card in credit card sized, a match, and my hand. It should provide a fine understanding of the sizes of these small vehicles. Nice that they are starting to get as beautiful details as well, in contrast to earlier. Going to post pictures, news, and more about model cars, model buses, model trucks / trailers, etc in the future, to show the different models and their qualities.
